It is Rememberance Day today, and this is a very special day to stop and take time to honour our veterans and soilders who fight for our freedom. I know for me personally, I tend to take all the freedoms that I have living in Canada for granted and I have to remind myself that I would have none of that if it wasn't for the brave men and women who have fought, and still do, fight for our freedom. I am so blessed to live in Canada and honoured to know that there are so many people who defend our country and our freedoms.
I think this Rememberance Day is even more important this year considering Canada lost two soilders on home soil in the past few weeks, so it is even more important to come together as a country and basically just say thank you.
I wanted to go to Calgary's big Remeberance Day memorial this year but due to terrible weather, the roads are not very safe to drive on so I couldn't get there unfortunately. I think it is so important to have some sort of moment on this day to stop what you're doing, and take time to Remember. And honestly the simplest thing that we all can do, is stop at 11 am and just have a moment of silence in order to just think of how lucky so many of us are, not just Canadians but all countries who have amazingly brave women and men who have and continue to defend our freedoms. So please, take part in something, whether it's a moment of silence, attending a service, going to a memorial, whatever it is, please take some time out today.
I just want to say, once again, that there are no words that can truly say thank you to those who protect our country, from me and the entire Diamonds, Doughnuts, and Drama team, thank you so very much to all our currently serving soilders and our veterans.

Lest we forget.
