Winter Fashion Friday

So I have finally accepted that it's winter. With great sadness I have put away my Toms, flats, and sparkly sneakers. There is really only one thing I like about winter and that's Christmas. But since it is inveitable (especially living in Calgary) I have to try my best to look cute throughout the winter months. So I did a little selfie photoshoot today. I learned I am sooooo not a model. I wear coats as much as possible. I will only wear ski jackets if it is absolutely necessary!

 This pink coat is my everyday coat. I love the fun detail of the animal print lining and the fur trimmed hood. Faux fur is a must in the winter season. Even the vest I was wearing in this shot had fur. The knee high leather boots are great on chilly, but light snow days. And who doesn't love a cozy mitten?










This second one is another great look and it's all about the Uggs. I adore my limited edition painted peacock Uggs and my earmuffs are Uggs too!! This navy coat is so versatile and the pop of orange from the scarf adds much needed colour

This is a fun look for a day full of Christmas shopping. My long coat is so warm and the colour goes with everything. I love the knit headband, it keeps the ears warm but allows the head to breathe. And I am obsessed with my brand new Mini Bailey Bow Uggs, just in from San Francisco

This is my favorite coat. I adore the colour, and love the pop of pink from my leather gloves. My white knit hat is perfect for all-day wear of going out for a Christmas dinner. For the outfit, black and white is always a classic and the heels are navy blue t-straps, they're so versatile...but not for comfort...at all!!

So these are my winter fashion picks. The best way to combat my hate of winter is to enjoy the fashion that comes with the cold and it helps me feel better about the ice and snow.
