Party Season

Hello there darlings. I have to begin with apologizing for being so quiet on here lately. I feel so relieved to be free of exams and I now have a nice month off from school.

Second, I want to fill you in a little bit on my life. So this weekend was weird and in some ways terrible. On Saturday, me and my mum went Christmas present shopping and got a lot accomplished. Then I went home and went to open my advent calendar and bit into the chocolate and found a hazelnut and I had an allergic reaction. So then yesterday, I went shopping with my parents and got a whole lot of presents for Christmas. Then I went to visit my grandma and had this loaf cake. And I immediately knew something was wrong. Well fast forward about an hour and I end up in the emergency room at the hospital. I was rushed into a room and hooked up to an IV being pumped with antihistemines. It turned out the cake had peanut butter. I have a pretty serious allergic reaction to peanuts and all other nuts. So that is how I spent my weekend. I'm so happy to be home from the hospital and I'm on my way to feeling better. So that was my weekend. Now let us move on.

This is the season for Christmas parties. We had one at our house last weekend and oh man, it was stressful. I get so stressed for stuff like that. I try so hard to make everything perfect and I get so concerned that every person is having a good time. And that the house looks spotless, especially when people come and see our house for the first time. I always want to have everything make a good impression. So I get so stressed out. But it turned out to be a good night. Especially since I got to see my really good friends who I haven't seen in years. That distracted me from my worrying.

There's more stress when it comes to parties. I am such a worrier so this time of year gives me a lot of stress. It is hard to balance all the events of the season. Sometimes there are two events on the same night and you have choose which one. I also worry about outfits. When do you go from the dress or jeans? It's hard! There are so many events of the season from concerts, to parties, to open houses, and big family dinners. Small talk is big this time of year and I sometimes don't know what to say. It can be hard. Just remember to avoid politics and religion!

Alright so now I'm going to share a few party looks I'm currently obsessed with.
If you ask me, sparkle is a MUST during the holiday season.

I am obsessed with this sequined jacket from H&M. It would look good with a dress or jeans. It's so versatile and gives fun sparkle and shine.

This sweater from Topshop is the cutest thing ever!! I had to share it! Who doesn't love a sweater with sequined Christmas trees.

This sequined black playsuit it the funniest thing ever! It's from H&M and it would be so cute for a New Years Eve party.

This skirt is amazing. I am so obsessed with it. I love the pattern and the texture and has a bunch of shine. It's just so adorable. It's from Club Monaco

I love this black leather peplum. It's from H&M and I always love a little bit of leather. Leather it cute and a little edgy. This would be amazing with a big chunky statement necklance and jeans or a skirt.

Alright darlings. Have a fantastic day and please comment on anything discussed here today!

Bye for now!
